Keren Dery-Magled

Keren is an attorney in the Firm’s Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Protection Department.

Keren is a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), having completed a professional training program offered by the Israel Privacy Protection Authority in collaboration with the Technion. She advises clients on a broad range of privacy, data protection, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence matters.

Keren advises leading companies in Israel and around the world on compliance with privacy and data protection laws, including Israeli and European requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She provides end-to-end legal counsel, including conducting privacy gap assessments and data mapping exercises; managing data-related risks; developing privacy policies and procedures; drafting privacy notices, terms of use and data processing agreements (DPAs); formulating data retention and deletion policies; facilitating the exercise of data subject rights; developing information security procedures; and advising on international data transfers, including transfers of personal data outside Israel. Keren also advises on privacy considerations in commercial activities and transactions, including M&A transactions, AI governance, and the implementation of Privacy by Design principles.
