Avi Kabani

Avi is a partner in the Capital Markets and Securities Department.

He has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in the fields of securities law, corporate law, and commercial law, with a particular focus on capital markets activity. Avi advises a wide range of publicly traded companies and reporting corporations, regularly working with senior management, boards of directors, and board committees to provide ongoing legal counsel—from the initial public offering (IPO) process through to the ongoing legal support of their operations. This includes representation before authorities and regulatory bodies, institutional investors, and shareholders; enhancing corporate governance; addressing reporting aspects; advising boards and committees; and issuing legal opinions.

Avi assists his clients in navigating complex legal and business challenges by integrating strategic and creative thinking with a deep understanding of regulation and maintaining close, ongoing relationships with various regulators and authorities.

In addition, Avi has significant experience in guiding private companies through the process of becoming public, whether via activity injection into a listed shell or through IPO prospectuses. He also advises clients in secondary market securities offerings, including substantial equity and debt raisings.

Avi has rich experience in leading and advising complex-party transactions and their approval processes, tender offers, drafting and implementing compliance programs, and designing executive compensation plans.
