Aviva advises the firm’s clients on a wide range of agreements in the shipping sector, including the sale, purchase, and chartering of vessels, operational agreements between ocean carriers, terminal agreements, agency agreements, and more.
In addition, Aviva has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting international commercial agreements, agency and distribution agreements, joint ventures, and sale and purchase agreements.
Aviva specializes in competition law with a particular focus on the shipping industry in Israel and internationally, and has unique expertise in this field. In this context, she played an active role in the regulatory reform in Israel under which the Israeli block exemption for operational arrangements between ocean carriers was enacted, including its renewal in 2026.
In addition, Aviva advises leading players in the shipping industry on competition law matters, internal compliance and enforcement, proceedings before competition authorities in Israel and abroad, restrictive arrangements, and mergers.
