Eliad is a Partner and Head of the Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice in the Haifa and Northern region.
He advises the firm’s clients on the implementation of, and compliance with, Israeli privacy laws, and provides ongoing legal counsel on the establishment of internal compliance mechanisms. His work includes drafting policies and procedures, preparing consent forms, supporting negotiations with third parties, issuing legal opinions, and ensuring the legal compliance of websites and applications in accordance with regulatory requirements and the guidelines of the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
Eliad has extensive expertise in the European data protection regulations (GDPR) and assists Israeli companies in assessing their implications on business operations. He advises clients in negotiations with European entities, supports agreements involving cross-border data transfers, and provides legal guidance on the management of personal data במסגרת grants and engagements with European funds, including for academic institutions.
In addition, Eliad is a member of the firm’s Shipping Department and specializes in advising on commercial transactions and agreements in the maritime transport sector. In this capacity, he represents shipping companies and port-calling entities in Israel and worldwide in negotiations over terminal agreements, addressing complex regulatory frameworks while providing ongoing commercial legal counsel.
Eliad also advises clients in the higher education sector, providing comprehensive legal counsel on the application of regulations relating to privacy protection, information security, ethical requirements, and contractual aspects associated with international research agreements and collaborations with institutions and entities outside Israel.
