Gil is a senior partner at our firm and heads the Tenders and Administrative Law Department.
He represents government ministries, state-owned companies, local authorities and municipal corporations, health funds, universities and colleges, as well as commercial entities, providing them with ongoing legal advice and representation in administrative law and tender law matters.
Gil has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of tenders and public procurement in Israel, and he advises public entities on tenders and contracts across a wide range of sectors, including the development of transportation infrastructure, energy and natural gas infrastructure, procurement of equipment and services, medical equipment procurement, the establishment of local and cloud-based management systems, technology and intellectual property acquisition, and more. In addition, he provides the firm’s clients with advice in commercial law and represents them in civil and commercial lawsuits and arbitrations.
Alongside his practice in administrative and tender law, Gil also advises clients on a variety of civil and administrative matters, from preliminary negotiations to civil and administrative litigation, representing them before civil and administrative courts, including the Supreme Court.
Gil has broad experience in the infrastructure, energy, natural gas, defense, and security sectors. He provides ongoing regulatory advice to private, public, and government companies, represents them in contractual and commercial disputes, and defends them against claims filed against them. In addition, he serves as an arbitrator under the Israeli Bar Association’s Arbitration Institution.
Gil has represented clients in complex and large-scale domestic and international legal proceedings, including: representation of railway infrastructure manufacturers in legal proceedings related to tenders for the procurement of carriages and locomotives; representation of construction and infrastructure contractors in connection with the results of infrastructure and construction tenders; representation of developers in administrative proceedings before the Israel Land Authority; representation of manufacturers and technology companies in the defense sector in commercial disputes and administrative matters related to technology trials and tender outcomes; representation of health corporations and health funds in complex legal proceedings related to construction, procurement, and services contracts; representation in shareholder disputes in private and public companies; representation of service providers in the nursing sector in legal proceedings related to tender results and contractual terms; and more.
