Oren Sharon

Oren is a partner at our firm and Head of the High-Tech Department.

Oren brings a unique combination of significant entrepreneurial and business experience in the high-tech industry alongside deep legal expertise in advising technology companies, start-ups, venture capital funds, and investors. Prior to entering the legal profession, Oren founded and led several successful technology ventures, some of which remain active today. This experience enables him to provide clients with holistic, commercially focused, and precise legal counsel, grounded in a practical understanding of the business, regulatory, and operational challenges faced by technology companies at every stage of their development.

Oren advises start-ups, high-tech companies, venture capital funds, private investors, family offices, and other investment entities in Israel and globally, and also represents foreign entities in investments, acquisitions, and the establishment of development centers in Israel. In this capacity, Oren handles significant transactions across the MedTech, defense tech, fintech, cybersecurity, mobility, gaming, e-commerce, retail, energy, communications, advertising, media, and other technology sectors, while providing ongoing support to funds and investment bodies.

His experience includes advising private companies on equity financing rounds, mergers and acquisitions, and a wide range of commercial transactions, including licensing, development, distribution, sales, research and development agreements, and joint ventures. Oren accompanies companies from formation and structuring through fundraising rounds, commercial agreements, team building, and all the way to exit transactions and IPOs.

In addition, Oren advises boards of directors and senior management on corporate governance, related-party transactions, regulatory reporting, internal compliance processes, and commercial negotiations, including dealings with regulators and institutional entities.

Alongside his legal practice, Oren is active in the Israeli start-up ecosystem and serves as a mentor and advisor in accelerators, co-working spaces, and entrepreneurship programs, including MusicTech Innovation Lab, OpenValley, and Galilee Accelerator – Ofek Tech. In this role, he supports early-stage founders and start-ups, particularly in shaping legal and business strategies. He also serves as a mentor in the mentorship program of the Law and High-Tech Club at Tel Aviv University.

Oren has an extensive international network in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and the Far East, which enables him to facilitate collaborations between the firm’s clients and investors, incubators, technology companies, and global organizations.
